Hi everybody, I really am not a total blog slacker! My computer has been down for almost 2 months. Kurt had to do some major clean up on it , but it is working great now!
I will try to have the kids add pictures later and fill in some of the stuff I missed, but for now I'll start with the family visit. Nick, Janine, Gage & Reid came on Sunday the 6th. about 4:30. Kurt, Megan, Matt, Reece, Kenzie, & Tayler arrived shortly after. Tanae also came for the evening on her way back from Conference in Salt Lake. She had to head back Monday morning because she was trying to finish up her finals. Thursday 9th was her last day, I can't believe she already has a year of college done!
It was very fun to have family here. Ryan was so excited and of course so sad to see them go. Kurt, Nick, Tina and all the kids went to Outer Limits (game place) Monday night and had a blast. Tuesday afternoon we went to Grandma Medellin's house and had a barbeque, we actually had 3 days of Sunny weather, it was great! We also had our annual Easter egg hunt there, which opened the way for some new hiding places! I have to admit I missed having all the little kids there for the hunt, thank goodness Gage and Reid were determined hunters.
The guys fixed a list of things while they were here. Thanks so much Kurt, Nick, Matt, & Reece!!
The time always seems to go so fast, Nick and family headed home Wednesday morning. They had been fighting colds all week. Poor Janine was fighting a terrible cough, she is definately showing now and looks so cute! The twins slept in my pre-school room while they were here. They were so quiet Sunday night, we thought they went right to sleep, HAH! They popped out of the Tornado devastated room about 2 hour later with a big tada and smiles on their faces. It wasn't until the next day that we realized I had forgotten to put away my Gummy worm jar, which was half full, and they had eaten the entire thing! Actually we did find 3 hidden in Reid's bed for a midnight snack:) It was sooo funny, I'm still amazed they didn't get sick.
Kurt and family left late Thurs. morning. Thanks for coming so far guys, I know that's a long drive, but it's always so fun to get together. It was really fun to see you Matt, Reece, Kenzie and Tayler. We look forward to lots of family fun in July!
